Exhibit space, training rosters, and attendees' schedules are filling up as opening day for InfoComm 07 draws closer. The Anaheim Convention Center will host the InfoComm Conference June 15-21, with exhibits open June 19-21. With more than 450,000 square feet of paid exhibit and special event space, InfoComm 07 is expected to have more than 800 exhibitors and attendees totaling 28,000 commercial AV professionals, technology managers, chief information officers, and procurement personnel from 80 countries. More than 240 education sessions will offer the training that AV professionals rely on to stay current with a constantly changing industry.

"Attending InfoComm's trade show is a valuable investment in both time and money," said Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., executive director, InfoComm International. "In just a few days you can visit the most comprehensive array of professional audio, digital signage, display, conferencing, lighting, control system, and signal distribution technology manufacturers available in one location, all while receiving world-class education and training from leading experts and manufacturers."

There will be no shortage of things to do and see at InfoComm 07. This year the mix of events will expand to include CABA's Intelligent Buildings Leadership Forum, to be held June 18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in conjunction with InfoComm 07. This year, the Forum will focus on research findings from CABA's Intelligent Buildings Roadmap and on green building technology.

The fourth annual Manufacturers Forum, scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on June 18, offers a glimpse into AV industry trends and predictions from some of the biggest names in the business.

Immediately following the Manufacturers Forum is InfoComm's Big Night, a free special event sponsored by Barco and Bosch Communications Systems. The best in the professional AV industry will be recognized during a free, fast-paced awards ceremony. InfoComm International will present the Harald Thiel Volunteer of the Year, Distinguished Achievement and Educator of the Year awards. SCN will recognize the best installation products while its sister publication, Rental & Staging Systems issues its staged events product awards. Archi-Tech pays tribute to the best fixed installations. PLASA's Lighting&Sound America acknowledges the best staged events of the year.
The awards ceremony is immediately followed by drinks, dancing, and the AV Industry Battle of the Bands, where three industry bands will compete on a state-of-the-art stage for the crowd's affection and prizes. Bands interested in entering the contest can visit www.infocommshow.org for a complete list of rules.

BARCO, Bosch Communications, Crestron Electronics, Extron Electronics, and Sony Electronics are platinum show sponsors of InfoComm 07. Gold show sponsors include Christie Digital and TANDBERG.
