Lab.gruppen Introduces Combined Lake/PLM Training Worldwide

  • KUNGSBACKA, SWEDEN--In the wake of the recent acquisition of the Lake brand and associated technology, which was rapidly followed by the announcement of the LM 26, Lab.gruppen’s first stand-alone digital processor based on Lake technology, Lab.gruppen is pleased to announce a combined training initiative on Lake Controller software and Lab.gruppen PLM Series Powered Loudspeaker Management systems.
  • “Lab.gruppen’s amplifiers and powered loudspeaker management systems are utilized everyday all around the world in all varieties of live productions/concerts and fixed installations,” notes Ken Blecher, VP of Sales, Tour for TC Group Americas. “Due to the diverse technologies employed in these products, we want to make sure all operators, technicians; system and project engineers are completely educated on the Lake Controller software, and the Lab.gruppen PLMs.”
  • The courses aim to provide dynamic, in-depth training covering the Lake Controller software platform, unique Lab.gruppen PLM Series features, Dante audio networking and the upcoming LoadED loudspeaker modelling tool. There will also be a brief overview of upcoming stand-alone processors as well as information and support for older Lake processors.

Training sessions are currently being scheduled across North America, with the first classes taking place in New York on 19th and 20th May 2009 followed by two more in Dallas in July. More classes will be announced in the coming weeks. After that, the initiative will be expanding into Europe, then through the Middle East and Africa into Asia and the Pacific Rim.
