MediaTile has announced a new professional services organization, MediaServices, to support creative media teams, agencies, and operators with content strategies to achieve “Digital Signage Optimization” (DSO).
The focus of the new MediaServices Group, a professional services consulting arm of The MediaTile Co., is to guide content developers, agencies and network operators in the creation and management of relevant content for digital signage networks, according to the company. The organization will focus on training and support to achieve industry best practices as defined by the Digital Signage Association (DSA), the Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau (OVAB) and others. This includes providing agencies and operators with the core tools needed to perform their own Return on Message process for digital signage optimization.
“MediaServices is about all things content for digital signs,” said Roger Sanford, executive producer, VP MediaServices, for the Scotts Valley, Calif., company. “Our focus is to help organizations create relevant content to reach and influence an audience in any given situation. This ‘contextual relevancy’ is the driving force behind the groups’ work in measuring digital signage effectiveness and training agencies to make exceptional content themselves.”
Sanford previously worked with MediaTile as an advisory board member and has extensive content production experience that spans more than three decades. He’s guided production for firms in network television, online advertising, networked signage, radio, mobile phones and even independent films.

At the event, Kelsen will also be recognized for his contributions to the industry, receiving the “Digital Signage Man of the Year” award.
In related news, MediaTile founder and executive chairman Keith Kelsen is slated to receive the Digital Signage Man of the Year award at the Kioskcom/Digital Signage Show for his work with the DSA in helping define Content Best Practices, industry evangelism and demonstrating the advantages of digital ‘out-of-home’ media.
