HME Introduces New Extended Warranty Program

  • SAN DIEGO, CA--Pro audio equipment manufacturer HME has introduced an Extended Warranty Agreement (EWA) program that provides users of HME wireless intercoms an additional year of full warranty coverage after their factory warranty expires. The program may also be used by HME dealers to extend the warranty on their rental stock.
  • “Because HME responds to market demand for new programs, we are now able to offer our comprehensive warranty service for many years after the original warranty expires,” said Nancy Roeder, HME director of service. “With the extended warranty found at www.hme.com/EWA, it will save the customer excessive repair costs and valuable time and ensure that their HME product continues to perform at its peak condition, giving the user freedom from worry.”
  • In today’s economy, buying new systems is not always a viable option. Consequently older systems must be kept maintained and working. But the maintenance cost may be unpredictable as unanticipated repair bills on older equipment mounts up – especially if the user has to deal with third-party service providers. In response, HME introduces this program to provide users with long-term protection and savings on their equipment maintenance. This program also benefits HME dealers as they can ensure that their customers have an option for factory-direct support for years to come.
  • The EWA extends most of the coverage of the standard HME warranty including immediate repair turnaround, free return freight, toll-free 24/7 help desk, factory parts, and much more. Agreements may be purchased for one year at a time and no long term commitment is required. EWAs are available on HME’s PRO850 series and DX family of products.
