TV Magic Opens New York Office

SAN DIEGO, CABroadcast systems integrator TV Magic has strengthened its New York City presence with the addition of two industry veterans, both of whom will work out of the new TV Magic offices in the New York City metro area.--David Rosenberg will serve as vice president and general manager of the New York branch and will be responsible for developing TV Magic's systems integration sales and services, and Andrea Cummis will serve as vice president of engineering.

Prior to joining TV Magic, Rosenberg served as vice president of product development for a leading MAM software vendor and held senior positions at AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies, where he developed global media asset management strategies and systems. Additionally, Rosenberg developed IT-based broadcast systems integration platforms while at Sun Microsystems and earlier led analysis and broadcast application design teams for the BBC's technology unit (BBCT).

Cummis brings to TV Magic a 20-year record of achievement at senior levels of broadcast engineering, operations, and technology. She has served as senior vice president of engineering and operations at Oxygen Media and director of network engineering and operations for USA Networks. Cummis was a manager of systems implementation for the 1992 Summer Olympics and the systems design engineer for NBC News for the 1988 Summer Olympics.
