Challenge
Enable diver-presenters in the Philippine Coral Reef shows to chat with audience members while immersed in up to 25 feet of water.
Equipment Highlights
Diver’s facemask is equipped with two tiny headphones and a mic, which are connected by a special underwater tube to a ClearCom CellCom digital wireless intercom beltpack near the tank. A presenter on the other side of the glass has a microphone hooked in, via the CellCom base station, to the same communications channel as the diver.

Complete audio, video, lighting, and acoustic systems makeover.
Equipment Highlights
Three NEXO PS15 speakers, two NEXO LS1200, one NEXO NXAmp, and a Yamaha LS9-32 digital audio console with Aviom Expansion card. An HD projection screen with two LCD displays, video switcher/scaler with HDMI distribution, wired and wireless IEM monitor system, LED lighting system, and custom acoustic wall panels round out the new system.

Challenge
Complete a new control room and HD equipment upgrade for SaRang Community Church; convert all displays to 16:9.
Equipment Highlights
A Sony PMW-EX3 XDCAM EX HD camcorder equipped with a Boxx Meridian wireless high-def video transmitter; four Sony HXC-100 HD cameras; one Sony HDR-FX7 locked off camera to insert a signer for the hearing impaired: Grass Valley Kayak production switcher; VRi CG, Pro-Presenter; and Evertz multiviewer; Barco CLD8A projectors for IMAG and a pair of CLD8A projectors with Barco processors.

Challenge
Maintain the intimacy of a jazz club in the new 28,000-square-foot, two-story venue with seating for 417 in the jazz club and nearly 371 in the restaurant and lounge.

Three pairs of custom EAW AX-SY 3-way full-range installation loudspeakers; five EAW UX8800 DSPs; EAW SB625z medium format sub; EAW MicroWedge.

PARADISE PRODUCTION SERVICES
Challenge
Blend a high-quality DJ-based and live sound system inconspicuously with the club’s décor in a space roughly 50 feet long by 40 feet wide with a ceiling height of 15 feet.
Equipment Highlights
Ten D.A.S. Audio Variant 112A powered line arrays and six D.A.S. LX-218A powered subwoofers throughout the main nightclub area, with another six Variant 25A powered mid-high array elements in the VIP areas and front entrance. Four LX- 218A subwoofers reside in an area beneath the stage, while the far ends each have a single LX-218A in recessed cubicles.

Challenge
Upgrade the sound system for the newly expanded Church on the Move. The 12,000-member church chose to remodel its existing main sanctuary by adding an additional 700 seats.

38 JBL VerTec VT4888 midsize line array elements flown in four arrays with 16 JBL ASB6128V subwoofers, 10 flown and six located under the stage; front fills, seven JBL AC28/95 loudspeakers housed behind the perimeter of the stage; 49 Crown MA5000i amplifiers and 10 CTs 2000 and CTs 3000 amps with control and routing handled by BSS Soundweb London BLU-160 processors, all networked via Harman HiQnet System Architect.

Challenge
After upgrading the sound quality of the Rock Bottom Brewery’s San Diego location, No Static found not only loudspeakers that would benefit from repositioning, but a backline of failing processors and amps at several of the older Brewery locations in Colorado.
Equipment Highlights
Replaced existing equipment with a single Ashly ne8250.70pe network-ready, eight-channel 70-volt amplifier with built-in Ashly Protea DSP. A single Ashly WR-5 programmable remote wall control simplifies user interface and provides direct control of the VCAs within the amps.

Challenge
The busy performance venue features a variety of events, requiring an adaptable sound system able to accurately meet the sound requirements of single performers, small groups, and classical orchestras.
Equipment Highlights
Eight Bag End TA1200-RF portable floor monitors, a TA2000 12-inch center house speaker, and 4 TA5000 15-inch main speakers. A Yamaha LS9-32 digital console with various snakes and wiring connects the system.

Challenge
An important element of a new educational initiative is to give students the chance to learn hands-on how to record and create mixes on a daily basis, requiring high-quality audio signals that could be sent from anywhere to anywhere.
Equipment Highlights
An Aviom Pro64 Series audio network allows the school to implement its curriculum by providing audio distribution throughout the four-story, 75,000-square-foot structure.

Challenge
Converting the downtown Holiday Inn to a Crowne Plaza came with a dramatic increase in required meeting/ celebration space. A new sound system for the new lobby, plaza, mezzanine, and restaurant/bar was needed.
Equipment Highlights
Lobby: SymNet 8x8 DSP; Tannoy CMS-801 recessed ceiling speakers; pair of QSC ISA 800T amps; Symetrix ARC-SWK wall panel. Plaza/mezzanine: three SymNet 8x8 DSPs and three SymNet BreakIn12s; seven each of Symetrix ARC-SWK and ARC-SW4 wall panels; six QSC ISA 300T and two QSC ISA 500T amps drive Tannoy CMS 801 ceiling speakers. Restaurant: pair of Denon DJM-700K DJ mixers; three Symetrix Zone Mix 760s; QSC CX204V amp; pair of Meyer 600HP subwoofers and four Meyer UPJ loudspeakers; Symetrix ARC-SWK wall panels.
