TAMPA, FL--AVI-SPL has teamed with Glowpoint to provide a complete and exclusive managed service for AVI-SPL customers. The new offering, ConferencePoint powered by Glowpoint, enhances AVI-SPL’s current room build and integration, customer care and onsite staffing models by adding comprehensive managed service support for both traditional video and telepresence environments.

AVI-SPL’s customers will have exclusive access to the ConferencePoint series through a customer portal and via live, 24/7 conferencing production and support teams. The service allows customers to see and talk to virtually anyone, anywhere around the world – regardless of network, technology or device.

“Service offerings have played a big role in AVI-SPL’s growth strategy, and this is the next step in our evolution to offer the most comprehensive offerings in the industry,” said John Zettel, CEO of AVI-SPL. “Based on Glowpoint’s Managed Service platform, ConferencePoint™ offers a total solution by combining the services with the equipment purchase, room integration and on-going management and support.”

Glowpoint's President and COO, Joe Laezza said of the new relationship, “we think this may be one of the most important developments in the video conferencing and telepresence industry.
