- In addition to CPR's Hughes/JVC relamping service, CPR has announced that it will stock a complete line of parts for most Hughes/JVC projectors. CPR is planning to offer both preventative maintenance contracts and corrective service on all projection systems as well as rental of projectors and peripherals for all large screen applications.
- CPR has announced that Leo Bassett has joined CPR MultiMedia Solutions as Service Director. Formerly an Area Service Representative with Hughes/JVC and a Senior Service Technician with JVC Digital Technology, Bassett has an exceptional understanding of the theory, setup and operation of video and data display systems. He has 15 years experience in the electronic imaging industry, providing board-level service and support for projection systems from most major projection manufacturers, including Barco, Christie, Sony, NEC, and Digital Projection, as well as Hughes/JVC.
- Bassett has worked with both dealer and end-user Hughes/JVC clients nationwide. Under Bassett's direction CPR MultiMedia Solutions is providing Hughes/JVC parts and service to clients such as MSNBC, The National Institutes of Health, National Geographic, EDS, Blue Water Technologies, Hoppman Corp. and the Charlotte Coliseum.
- Bassett spent six years with CPR MultiMedia Solutions, before joining Hughes/JVC, and CPR looks forward to his rejoining the team. CPR MultiMedia Solutions is nationally known as a staging company offering LED walls, projection, video, audio, lighting and creative services for clients such as Ciena, H.J. Heinz, HBO, Army Television, P.W.Feats and Abbott Laboratories.
