Digital Signage Quarterly Changes Name, Increases Frequency

Publish date:

NewBay Media has announced the name change of its Digital Signage Quarterly magazine to Digital Signage. The new name coincides with the announced increase in frequency for the magazine for 2008– from five times (including the Annual Directory) to seven times throughout the year.

NewBay Media has also announced that it will be publishing the Digital Signage Expo News, the official on-site publication for the Digital Signage Expo, which is being held February 27-28, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This is the first time the show will be having an official publication, which will serve as an on-site guide, new product resource, and exhibitor news magazine at the Expo.

“Digital Signage continues to power ahead as fastest-growing communication technology market there is,” states David Keene, Executive Editor of Digital Signage. “It’s been an exciting ride since we launched the only magazine dedicated to digital signage just a few years ago. The market has spoken, and we’re now responding to our huge success and the growth of the market by increasing our frequency and simplifying our name to better serve our readers and advertisers.”

Digital Signage magazine covers the rapid growth of digital signage and electronic messaging across all sectors: retail, public transportation, entertainment, trade show/conference messaging, hotel, way-finding, restaurant and fast-food menuing, and wait-time entertainment. Digital Signage magazine is the only national magazine dedicated to covering new product introductions, business model analysis, case studies, and market research in the digital signage market.

The annual Digital Signage Resource Directory, published by Digital Signage and now in its sixth year, is the most complete guide to market, with more than 2000 listings that match buyers and sellers of dynamic signage products and services. The Digital Signage Resource Directory is a practical guide to both service companies and product providers that offer specific solutions, listed by service and equipment category.

The annual DIGI Awards honor the best digital signage deployments worldwide for retail, transportation, corporate, and education applications. Sponsored by Digital Signage magazine and The Digital Signage Group, the DIGI Awards generate extraordinary attention in the digital signage industry, with top industry experts rewarding entries from around the world that demonstrate creative content and leverage technology to target consumers and citizens in a non-obtrusive, informative, and engaging fashion.

With its increased frequency to seven issues per year, Digital Signage magazine is now poised to further take its readers and advertisers to new levels of success in digital signage.
