MONTREAL – Promising new industry benchmarks for digital AV signal extension, signal
processing and chipset integration, AptoVision™, a pioneer in game-changing chipset
technology, offered a preview of launch plans for next month’s ISE show in Amsterdam.
Last year at ISE, AptoVision received both Best of Show and Best New Technology awards
for BlueRiver™ NT, its chipset technology for enabling full-bandwidth transmission of true
4K/60/4:4:4 AV signals over IP networks. Plans for ISE 2016 include dramatically increased
signal extension capabilities for its BlueRiver chipset, the first chip-based engine for
performing multiple audio and video signal processing functions of IP-based AV signals,
and the first fully-integrated chipset for audio and video processing and extension of
IP-based AV signals.
“The product developments we will reveal at ISE will continue to improve the already
compelling cost/performance benefits of our AV over IP architecture compared with existing
technologies and systems,” said Kamran Ahmed, CEO and co-founder, AptoVision. “These
new products will have a profound impact on reducing the cost and complexity of commercial
AV components and systems, and they will help accelerate the industry conversion to IP-based

A Montreal-based company, AptoVision provides advanced chipsets for AV/KVM signal extension, matrix switching, IP-based switching, video-wall and multi-view applications. Enabling end-to-end systems, these chipsets also integrate advanced inline signal processing capabilities such as light compression, broadcast quality scaling and audio down-mixing. In 2014, AptoVision introduced its award-winning BlueRiver NT technology which forever changed the face of AV signal distribution by allowing installers and OEMs to replace traditional AV matrix switches with IP switches while delivering noticeably higher price/performance, flexibility and scalability. www.aptovision.com# # #
