- POMPANO BEACH, FL--Vutec Corporation announced that it had entered into a Canadian distribution agreement with the Canada Branch of Eiki International Inc. Vutec's screens will be distributed under the dba, Vutec Screens in Canada, expected to be in full operation by July 2nd. A website will be launched shortly under the domain, http://www.vutecscreens.ca.
- Eiki International's parent company is Eiki Industrial Co. Ltd. of Osaka, Japan, celebrating its 55th anniversary this year. Eiki Industrial has subsidiaries in Germany, the Czech Republic, China, and Malaysia as well as North America. EIKI brand ProAV Projectors and AudioVisual equipment are sold worldwide through a network of ProAV Distributors and Dealers.
- Established in 1974 for distribution in the United States, and in 1988 for Canada, Eiki International distributes professional audiovisual communications equipment in North America, and offers inventory, account services and technical resources to a network of ProAV dealers who provide a range of services to education, government, religious and business markets in both countries. The Vutec-Eiki/Canada agreement focuses on Canada.

- Coombes added that distribution for Vutec in Canada would divided into three geographic areas: Eastern, Central and Western Canada. "Dave Galos serves as National Sales Manager based in our headquarter offices in Midland, Ontario; Mike Snizynsky serves as our Regional Manager in Montreal; and Shawn Butterworth serves as our Regional Manager in Vancouver," said Coombes.
