Rapid Displays Do the Dew, Top the Poles

Commissioned by Pepsi to make a Mountain Dew limited release counter unit in January 2008, Rapid Displays produced 1500 units that were deployed in the c-store market for four weeks. Made of Litho-printed 4cp mounted to 200# b flute, the 15” length x 10” width x 18” height display featured custom painted/aluminum Mountain Dew bottles in a secondary location. The multi-tiered display allowed each unique design to be featured.

Then in February of 2008 Diageo North America commissioned over 2300 2008 Smirnoff vodka Holiday Pole Toppers to go to liquor and grocery stores across North America. To increase the off-shelf placement and sales of this flagship brand, Diageo wanted a simple, but premium-looking display that made the product the hero, with subtle hints of winter holidays. The large, two-sided, pearl-coated snowflake was used to reinforce print advertising that would be running simultaneously with the in-store display. Silver foil and vac-formed bottles and martini glasses, plus green hand-decorated plastic olives are just some of the details of this 41” length x 14” width x 84” height display that catch the eye in the eight weeks of November and December 2008.
