NEW YORK, NY--The ETCP Rigging-Arena and Entertainment examinations will be offered for the first time at InfoComm this year. The deadline for submitting applications to sit for the paper and pencil examinations to be given at InfoComm is quickly approaching; all applications must be submitted to the ETCP office no later than May 7, 2010.

Arena Rigging Exam: June 9, 2010 (2:00 pm)
Can’t make it to InfoComm? You can apply to take an examination at a computer testing center near you. All three exams are available at over 190 testing centers in the U.S. and Canada on most business days. All three examinations will be offered at the LDI Show in Las Vegas on October 22 and 23 and the deadline for these exams will be September 24, 2010.
The Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) provides testing for professional technicians who serve in lead positions as Arena Riggers, Theatre Riggers and Entertainment Electricians. Because of their commitment to a safer workplace, many venues and employers across North America are now requiring ETCP Certified Technicians for supervisory positions. ETCP can further enhance your identity as a competent and knowledgeable leader in your field.
