AVI-SPL University Professional Series Coming to Dallas on October 22

TAMPA, FL--AVI-SPL will take Dallas area professionals back to school for the fourth annual AVI-SPL University program to be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, Grapevine, Texas, on Thursday, October 22. The program offers attendees access to industry-leading educational seminars taught by experts and certified trainers. AVI-SPL University is regarded as the largest professional audiovisual (AV) education series to be sponsored by a comprehensive AV solutions provider.

Special guest Beth Jones-Schall, founder and president of Spirit of Success will present two unique seminars entitled “I have to work with WHO?” and “Courage for Challenging Times.” Other University sessions highlight various subjects including collaborative meetings, telepresence, video teleconferencing, “green” AV solutions, digital signage and audio optimization.

“With the recent economic downturn, our attendees will learn how advanced AV technology can help end users develop more cost-effective and efficient operations,” said Laurie Economidy, AVI-SPL’s tradeshow and events manager. She continued, “In Dallas, we will have more than 40 manufacturers on hand to share the latest in professional AV technology.”

AVI-SPL University will also feature a Tech Expo showcasing the latest technology products from industry-leading manufacturers.

Remaining events in the 2009 AVI-SPL University series include Chicago, Ill. on Oct. 29, Tampa, Fla. on Nov. 4, and Boston, Mass. on Nov. 11.
