Crown, JBL Team On Networked VERTEC Models

  • Extending the proven superiority of its VERTEC Series line array family to the powered loudspeaker market, JBL Professional is now offering the networked versions of its JBL VERTEC DP Series. These integrated audio systems, compatible with HiQnet System Architect Software, feature JBL DrivePack technology with extensive remote control and monitoring capabilities. Developed with Harman Pro Group sister company Crown International, these high-performance power modules with integral digital signal processing couple seamlessly with VERTEC loudspeakers, providing a new level of functionality for system users.
  • The VT4888DP three-way midsize line array element and VT4882DP midsize subwoofer are available with optional network input modules that allow JBL VERTEC DP Series systems to link seamlessly into Harman Professional's revolutionary new HiQnet system. VT4888DP-AN and VT4882DP-AN systems feature analog audio XLR inputs with Ethernet connectivity via industry-standard CAT5 cabling. VT4888DP-CN and VT4882DP-CN models feature digital audio and control on a single cable, and are Cobranet-compatible.
  • With either optional module installed, system users can take full advantage of the HiQnet communications protocol and HiQnet System Architect software. HiQnet compliance ensures that VERTEC DP Series systems can offer a variety of configuration and monitoring functions, through software control panels that address not only JBL DrivePack-equipped loudspeakers, but also other audio products from Harman Professional companies that may be integrated into a sound system.
