ESTA Announces LDI Winners

Behind the Scenes, the charitable initiative of The ESTA Foundation, would like to congratulate the winners of the 2007 LDI Raffle and the 2007 LDI Texas Hold 'Em Tournament.

This year's LDI Behind the Scenes Raffle Grand Prize winner, Ken Udell from Audio-Depot in Madison, Wisconsin won the "Broadway Chopper" donated by Neil Mazzella and Hudson Scenic Studio. The Broadway Chopper is a custom street chopper built and painted by the talented craftspeople at Hudson Scenic. "Buying a raffle ticket was a great opportunity to support each other in the industry," explains Udell. "It is a good charity and I support their efforts. Win or lose it was a great way to donate. I got lucky but I think everyone really wins when they buy a ticket for such a cause." The raffle's 2nd prize of a $2,500 Visa Gift Card was won by Bill Belleveau from ETC and the 3rd Prize of a $1,000 Visa Gift Card went to Rob Hofkamp from Martin Audio.

The 2007 LDI Texas Hold 'Em Tournament held Saturday night of LDI, benefiting Behind The Scenes was a tremendous success as well with a $100 buy-in that ended with Chris Whittle holding all the chips. Whittle won bragging rights over 2nd place's Pete Engel, 3rd place Dinna Myers, 4th place Greg Williams and 5th place David Saltiel. Congratulations to the entire final table and thank you to everyone who played in the tournament!
