Applications Available For Mackie/SAE Scholarships

Publish date:

Woodinville, WA - Building on a longstanding educational partnership, Mackie and the SAE Institute have initiated the SAE Institute/Mackie International Scholarship Contest, which will award one international and one U.S. full-tuition scholarship to the SAE location of the applicant's choice.

As part of the application process, potential students must submit a portfolio of creative works or productions for review. Entrants must also provide an outline of their own relevant experiences and goals in the audio industry, as well as a statement explaining why they are the best candidate to receive this scholarship. Applicants will then mail entries and related submissions to the SAE campus that they would like to attend. All 41 participating SAE Institute campuses around the world are accepting entries through March 31, 2005.

Downloadable applications are currently available at scholarship/index.
Each individual school will select two finalists from its location. These two finalists will then be submitted to Mackie for final judging, and Mackie will choose one international and one U.S. scholarship winner.
