POPAI OMA Contest

  • POPAI's Outstanding Merchandising Awards (OMA) contest is being held in conjunction with GlobalShop back in Las Vegas, NV on March 7 - 9, 2007. It is at the Sands Expo Center in the Venetian hotel in the heart of Vegas. The POPAI Awards Gala will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2007 (5:00 PM - 7:30 PM) in Las Vegas, NV.
  • The deadline is January 12th. The Late Entry Deadline is January 19th.
  • NEW THIS YEAR
  • 1. The OMA Committee has refined the medal awards process to encourage gold, silver and bronze medals in all categories/divisions.
  • 2. The Display of Year Awards will be announced on March 8, 2007 at the POPAI Awards Gala in Las Vegas, NV.
  • 3. A new POPAI Digital Signage Contest is being held concurrent with the OMAs
  • 4. There will be a reduced fee for first time entrants.
  • 5. Fact Cards can include company information beginning on the first day of the show.
  • 6. Exhibitors will be allowed to include booth numbers on the fact card labels.
  • 7. Renderings will no longer be allowed.
  • 8. Gala tickets will now be sold by table or individually.
  • 9. Photography will be allowed in the OMA Area at Globalshop.
  • 10. POPAI will offer free pictures to the award winners accepting their statuette.
  • The deadline is January 12th. The Late Entry Deadline is January 19th.
