BROOMALL, PA--Visual Sound is pleased to announce that it has recently acquired Kunz, Inc. Based in Baltimore, Kunz is a leading Mid-Atlantic audio visual equipment supplier and service provider, primarily serving local government and various school districts throughout the Baltimore, Washington and Virginia regions.

According to Karen Bogosian, president and CEO of Visual Sound, Kunz’s high level of experience made it a good match for Visual Sound. “Through its outstanding expertise and customer service, the company has cultivated strong relationships with various school systems, including both public and private institutions, as well as many local colleges and universities. The company’s reputation for offering outstanding products and service compliments Visual Sound’s commitment to serving our educational clients.”

“Here at Kunz, we are very excited to now be a part of Visual Sound,” says Cindy Davis, owner of Kunz, Inc. “Through this acquisition, we can now offer our current customers a broader spectrum of products and a higher quality of services. We can offer potential customers services that we could not offer in the past. By being a part of Visual Sound, we now have the right product mixture for system integrations.”

The acquisition will enable Kunz to offer additional manufacturer lines currently represented by Visual Sound, broadening their technology offering. Some of those manufacturers include SMART Technologies, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Bose, Biamp, Shure, NEC, LG, Polycom, Tandberg, VBrick, Chief, Da-Lite amongst many others.

Founded in 1949, Kunz originally started as a 16 millimeter film rental company. Now, Kunz supplies AV equipment and educational software.
