EAW Partners On DSP

WHITINSVILLE, MA—EAW announced strategic partnerships with Lake, Lab.gruppen, and Powersoft whereby they will integrate proprietary EAW DSP algorithms into a subset of their respective product lines. Additionally, in Q3 2010, Lake, Lab.gruppen, and Powersoft will announce separate agreements expanding the partnership to enable EAW to sell a selection of their respective product lines as components in EAW system sales.

“At the onset, the integration of EAW’s lauded DSP, most notably Focusing, will ensure seamless integration and optimum performance of EAW loudspeaker systems matched with Lake Processors, Lab.gruppen Powered Loudspeaker Management (PLM) systems, and Powersoft amplifiers,” commented Jeffrey Cox, LOUD Technologies’ pro audio group VP. “And once the sales component of the partnership is implemented, EAW will proudly offer a range of amplifier solutions from the best in the business.”

CHICAGO, IL—projectiondesign has supplied seven of its high-resolution DLP projectors to the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago for its stunning new Giant Heart within the YOU! The Experience exhibit. Conceived and designed by Thinc Design with AV systems integration carried out by BBI Engineering, the Giant Heart uses a steel “XURF” projection surface for two projectiondesign F12 and three F22 projectors. These units project a single, seamless moving image, with content coming from one of four different pre-programmed movies.
