In conjunction with their new training partner, Versatile Communications, Class on Demand has launched an online IT learning platform that emulates the training methodology of Class on Demand’s video-based curriculum. The technology includes a secured streaming video server that employs Microsoft’s® Silverlight® DRM technology, and offers a flexible payment engine, allowing the purchase of entire courses or individual modules/chapters.

The first set of training courses that Class on Demand will broadcast via the online learning platform is “Integrating a HP® ProCurve and Cisco® Network.” This first set, delivered by industry expert John Lancaster, will provide students with over ten hours of in-depth lessons, which are broken down into three distinct modules on the technical architecture of both Cisco and HP ProCurve networks. Lancaster’s instruction encompasses the integration, configuration and management of network switches through the use of VLANs, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree, Rapid-PVST+ and MSTP. The training course offers IT professionals the opportunity to integrate HP ProCurve and Cisco switches into the same environment.
