Doug Kocsis, a 15-year veteran of the leasing business, announces the launch of DK Capital, Inc., a new leasing company primarily dedicated to serving the pro audio, lighting, AV presentation and staging industries.

Located in the Lansing suburb of Okemos, DK Capital offers a variety of financing options for both new and used equipment, including various deferred billing scenarios, application-only financing and master lease programs. We service leases as small as just a few thousand dollars all the way up to several hundred thousand and beyond; anything is possible, Kocsis notes.

According to Kocsis, most recently with Accent Leasing, he will be offering leasing services in conjunction with manufacturers such as Midas, Klark Teknik, Electro-Voice, L-ACOUSTICS US, Martin Audio, NEXO, Creative Stage Lighting and Penn Fabrication.

Kocsis is widely regarded as an industry authority on financing. According to Paul Freudenberg, sales and marketing director for L-ACOUSTICS US, Doug is truly an expert when it comes to creative financing specific to our industry. Working with Michael MacDonald, Doug was instrumental in developing several innovative leasing programs for us, and we look forward to our continued relationship with him.

Matt Larson, US sales manager for Midas and Klark Teknik, echoes this enthusiasm. We at Telex Communications have enjoyed working with Doug for many years and are very excited about future business with DK Capital, he says. It is critical for our customers to be able to finance their capital needs, optimize their cash flow and work with an industry insider that understands their business, he says.

The 4th Digital Signage Expo held this past May in Chicago was, by all accounts, a huge success. Attendance was up over 60% versus 2006, and 110 companies exhibited, for a 20% increase versus the prior year. Adoption of Digital Communication Networks (“DCN”) is growing both in the U.S. and internationally, and new markets, such as out-of-home, are becoming more active. Another interesting indicator of the overall health and direction of this industry is the amount of capital that is now finding its way into these businesses.
