SCN: What is your company's story at InfoComm this year?

Steven Barlow: This year we're introducing DisplayNet Connect for AI Agents, an MCP server that lets AI assistants like Claude, OpenAI Codex, and Gemini configure, control, and troubleshoot DisplayNet systems through natural language. It's the first agent integration for an AV over IP signal distribution platform, built on the DisplayNet API. We expect this technology to expand the possibilities for system integrators by greatly reducing the time and cost needed to design, control, and troubleshoot AV over IP systems.

SCN: Why is InfoComm such an important show for you and your company?

SB: InfoComm is where end-user technology managers come looking for partners, not just products. AI is the conversation across every IT category right now. Both integrators and end users want to see AI-based products that offer real and viable solutions. The show is the right venue to make that visible.

SCN: What do you expect the buzz to be on the InfoComm 2026 show floor?

SB: AI solutions, but a more grounded version than last year. Buyers have moved past asking why AI matters and are now asking to see real products and learn how they can actually use them. Vendors that can demonstrate this and who can answer the specifics will stand out.

SCN: Why is the 10 Gbps SDVoE architecture ideal for your DisplayNet AVoIP distribution?

SB: There are three reasons. The 10GbE foundation delivers zero-latency, uncompressed 4K over the same IT-grade infrastructure that already carries the rest of the enterprise stack. Unlike other AV over IP platforms, SDVoE offers the bandwidth necessary for uncompromised performance. Plus, the standards-based, multi-vendor design of SDVoE is what DisplayNet has been built on for more than a decade. Openness was the right call for AV/IT convergence, and now it's the right foundation for the AI-assisted workflows enterprise IT is adopting.
