IED Joins Forces with Mitek Canada

LOUISVILLE, KY--Innovative Electronic Designs announces a new agreement with Mitek Canada to expand and enhance its sales force and distribution in Canada.

IED is a leader in audio and visual announcement solutions for airports, healthcare centers, educational facilities, mass transit systems, industrial/corporate buildings, et al. with installations worldwide while Mitek Canada is a consumer and commercial product provider throughout the Canadian providences.

“This is simply a move that makes sense,” says Hardy Martin, IED’s CTO. “Utilizing the resources and established distribution chain of Mitek Canada, IED will gain new opportunities and be able to better assist our Canadian customers with faster delivery and expert service.”

Mitek Canada’s director of sales and marketing Norm Ross agrees, “We are excited to be able to offer IED’s complete line of flexible and scalable paging and mass notification systems to our customers, as well as continue to offer the utmost of service and support to IED’s existing Canadian customer base. This is a great new arrangement that will help IED grow their business and create new prospects for Mitek Canada with a superior product for larger commercial installations.”

Mitek Canada is already the Canadian provider of Atlas Sound products whose speakers and end points easily integrate with IED systems. IED became part of the globally recognized Mitek Electronics and Communications Group in 2008, which includes Mitek Canada and Atlas Sound.
