Wegener Forums Coming to NYC and LA

DULUTH, GA--Wegener Corporation will host Wegener Forums 2009 in New York and Los Angeles. Wegener Forum 2009: New York will be held from January 27-29 at the AMA Executive Conference Center at 1601 Broadway, New York City. Wegener Forum 2009: Los Angeles will be held from February 17-18 at the Hotel Angeleno at 170 North Church Lane, Los Angeles.

Wegener Forums are regional events that Wegener holds across the country to provide media industry professionals with the latest information about today’s critical media distribution technologies and strategies. Wegener Forums feature in-depth discussions and demonstrations related to a wide range of topics, including: digital signage, datacasting, file-based video and audio workflows, multi-site/client/application networks, bandwidth consumption, IP video, centralized media management, and targeted ad/brand insertion.

“We’re extremely pleased to announce the first two Wegener Forums we’ve planned for 2009 - in New York and Los Angeles,” said Ned L. Mountain, president and chief operating officer of Wegener . “Since they were first launched in the winter of 2005, our Wegener Forums have been met with enthusiastic response. They’ve provided us with a valuable opportunity to share our expertise about media distribution technologies with prospective customers so they can determine the best solutions for their particular challenges.”

Since Wegener Forums 2009 are designed to be private, one-on-one sessions tailored to each company’s individual needs, meeting slots are limited. Interested parties are asked to register in advance in one of three ways: either by calling Grace Knight at 770-814-4021; emailing to corpmail@wegener.com; or by visiting the registration website at www.wegener.com/CONTACT/forum.php.
