- The new world of AV digital convergence demands a suite of solutions that include a router & modem for IP Access & Control. The AV550SC UPS from Tripp Lite addresses problems that are encountered when designing AV solutions that include a router & modem for IP manageability. The AV550SC uses a reset / recycle button with 60 second outlet delay for proper sequential re-boot of the router & modem, this allows for the modem to find it's IP address first before the router re-boots. An all too familiar problem from when the service provider sends an anomaly down the pipe that causes the router & modem to freeze-up.
- The AV550SC Provides a "safety net" by switching equipment to battery backup during a power anomaly, sag, outage, disturbance or swell.
