Auralex Acoustics Brings It Home For ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Publish date:

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--Every Sunday, millions of viewers watch as ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition undertakes the monumental task of completely rebuilding a family's home in a one-week timeframe. When a recent renovation called for specialized acoustical treatments, NYC dealer Dale Pro Audio, recommended Auralex's products.

Several Auralex acoustical products were installed in the family's eldest son's bedroom, including four B22 ELiTE ProPanels; five T'Fusors, twelve S3CT SonoSuedes; two AudioTile 24 packs and one AudioTile Corner Turn. An aspiring DJ/musician, the son is driven to pursue his love for music in order to financially assist his single father and do his part in supporting his four younger brothers.

"To once again be involved with a show like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is truly an honor," says David Paxton, director of operations at Auralex Acoustics.

"It was an unforgettable experience just to be a part of such an enormous undertaking and such an incredibly generous gesture for a deserving family."

Auralex was one of many contributing to the rebuilding of a home for the Marrero family of Camden, NJ. The episode originally aired on November 11, 2007 and can be seen in its entirety online at the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Website at
