Middle Atlantic Products Acquires Exact Power

  • FAIRFIELD, NJ--Middle Atlantic Products announced the acquisition of Exact Power from Atlantis Power Quality Systems of California.
  • The investment in this brand, known for its innovative AC power quality technologies, groundbreaking patents, and expertise in two-channel audio systems, enables Middle Atlantic to establish its new power products division, ExactPower. President and chief engineer Bob Schluter noted, “This positions Middle Atlantic to offer a unique end-to-end power quality solution for Residential AV installations.”
  • “Middle Atlantic has always been known for providing products that help our customers install reliable systems,” said Mark Tracy, director of product management and business development. “This acquisition of leading AC power technology and the new ExactPower products that we will offer to residential AV installers reaffirm our commitment to providing innovative solutions.”
  • The Exact Power brand was originally founded by Atlantis Power owner Ron Jackson to solve power quality issues for high-end audiophile applications. Well known for his work with transformers and power products at Jackson Engineering, Ron’s close association with Bill Whitlock of Jensen Transformers resulted in the development of a range of targeted products designed to provide solutions for those common power quality problems. One such breakthrough was a patented “feed-forward” Reserve Power technology for voltage correction.
