Tyler Truss To Sell Its HUD Truss Direct

  • PENDLETON, IN--Tyler Truss Systems is selling its HUD Truss to customers on a direct basis. As the designer and manufacturer of this new intelligent lighting truss, Tyler will now offer the product and select accessories direct to the corporate and touring production industries.
  • HUD Truss was first developed as a bottom line solution for Upstaging-Lighting and Transport. In just six months, HUD Truss is having an impact worldwide as it is featured on numerous tours including: Radiohead and Neil Diamond. It is beginning to appear in the corporate event production world as well.
  • The 14 x 24 inch heavy duty truss will now come in 5, 8, and 10-foot lengths. It provides complete protection for lighting and projection instruments, is lightweight, stacks and locks, and includes spigots for easy assembly. HUD Truss features height-adjustable, wheel dollies that detach and re-locate to the top of the truss for storage. The innovative HUD Hinge provides a 180 degree rotation and folds to the same width as the truss during transport. The center loading design of the truss allows a high density of large format automated and conventional fixtures to be installed. And when trim height is an issue, HUD Truss can be used without the wheel dollies, allowing the truss to be used at higher trim levels.
  • Together, the many features of HUD Truss translate into an improved bottom line--less truck space and weight as fixture cases are not required and less labor.
  • Tyler Truss has two accessories as well, including the Tyler Mount - a mechanical shock and electrical isolation mount to protect lights as they ride in the truss, and a custom cable management tray to make your rig even more fly-ready when it reaches the venue.
  • Tyler Truss is developing new product solutions to improve productions, create greater value, and help improve profitability, said owner and president Mark Dodd. HUD Truss and its accessories are very important additions to what we call our High-performance Utility Design line of products. And there are more products in development.
