- BOXLIGHT has announced the release of an optional short throw lens available for all projectors within the current Seattle Series. The optional lens will significantly reduce the distance required to project a large image from a short distance, giving enormous flexibility to the installer or presenter. The typical distance to project a 100-inch diagonal for the Seattle Series is close to 10 feet away from the image. With the new lens option, the projector is required to be approximately 6 feet away from the image. The Seattle Series includes five projectors varying in brightness from 2200 – 3500 lumens and was developed to focus on ease of installation and maintenance while providing a multitude of inputs for a reasonable price. The Seattle Series features an extensive input panel allowing for flexibility and ease during installation. LAN connectivity allows for real time status updates -- monitor all projectors on the network or check lamp and filter hours. A side changing lamp means the projector does not need to be removed from a ceiling mount to install a new lamp.
