Entertainment Manufacturing Group Supplies Custom Metal Panels for WGCU Performing Arts Center

Western Connecticut State University, located in Danbury, Connecticut recently unveiled their new visual and performing arts center and Entertainment Manufacturing Group was part of the impressive process. Masque Sound, a leading provider of complete audio systems for live entertainment contracted Entertainment Metals, a division of Entertainment Manufacturing Group, located in Fort Myers, Florida to supply metal panels for the project.

"The entire project took over a year from start to finish. EMG supplied over 85 custom metal panels which were manufactured according to specs and all processed in-house over a period of several months”, according to Zarko Njezic, Sales Manager for EMG and coordinator on the WCSU project. In addition, “The metal panels for the WCSU undertaking were independently designed with custom paint colors, screen printing, and all loaded with Neutrik & Hubble connectors. The WCSU Performing Arts endeavor was a great opportunity to be part of the growing arts culture in the Danbury community”, adds Njezic.

The custom metal panels provided by EMG are being utilized throughout amultitude of spaces, including the Concert Halls, Studio, Theatre, and Recording Studio. When asked about the new performing arts building venture, Sheldon Steiger, Audio & Information Technology Coordinator for WCSU states, “The panels are situated throughout our facility and help form the backbone of a very comprehensive and complex building-wide network. We have multiple theaters, a concert hall, classrooms and rehearsal spaces. All formats of media, analog and digital, including audio, video and fiber optic networking were accomplished with the assistance of EMG and their ultra-high quality custom panels”.

WCSU’s new 130,000 square foot center which is recognized as one of the region’s distinctive public university programs in the arts is an important part of the artistic community of Danbury and the greater New York City metropolitan area, providing access to more than 150 performances, gallery exhibitions, and guest artist appearances throughout the year, many at no charge to the public.
