Great news from AVIXA’s latest Pro AV Business Index: sales growth is strengthening. At 61.3, the March AV Sales Index (AVI-S) is at its highest level since 2019.

After a blip of deceleration seen in January, AVIXA’s Pro AV Business Index shows AV sales growth sped back up in February.

In the latest Pro AV Business Index, January’s AV Sales Index (AVI-S) shows a drop of 5 points from the prior month, to 52.0, reflecting a slower start to the year.

December’s AV sales index (AVI-S) measured 57.2, 2.5 points above the November reading of 54.7—which itself was 1.5 points above the October reading.

This month, the AV sales index (AVI-S) reached 53.7, indicating growth for the first time since February, according to AVIXA’s July Pro AV Business Index.

AVIXA’s latest Pro AV Business Index has good news to report: November 2020 marked the best month of AV sales growth since the start of the pandemic.

Against a complicated backdrop of GDP recovery and additional waves of coronavirus, AVIXA’s Pro AV Business Index shows that global AV sales growth accelerated in October.

Globally, pro AV growth continued at a slow pace in September.

Growth at any level is good news to hear during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, AVIXA’s Pro AV Business Index shows that August sales barely qualify as growth.
