Draper Employees Add LEED-Accredited Professional Status

SPICELAND, IN--Draper, Inc., has announced several members of its sales and technical staff have become LEED-Accredited Professionals. So far, nearly a quarter of the Draper outside sales staff has earned LEED-AP status, with more to come; Draper also now provides the convenience of LEED-Accredited Professionals who are also Certified Technology Specialists (CTS), Construction Document Technologists (CDT) and Construction Specifications Institute members (CSI).

"Having LEED-APs on staff is important, not only as a practical tool for dealers, architects and designers, but also as a statement of the importance of measurable performance in green building," according to Draper contract market manager Chris Broome, LEED-AP. "Our sales and technical staff can combine their knowledge of LEED, window shades, AV technology and the building industry in general to provide sound advice on the best green solution for any situation."

"It's all about meeting needs and preserving the future," according to Brian Kunz, LEED-AP, CTS. Kunz is Draper's Mid-West regional sales manager and was the first member of Draper's sales force to combine LEED-AP and CTS-certification. "I feel like we now have the knowledge to provide our customers with the best solutions with the smallest environmental impact."
