TRIBUTARIES SERIES 1 HDMI CABLES

Tributaries’ Series 1 HDMI cables offer installers a HDMI 1.3b Category 2 certification and a classified high speed. The Series 1 cables are constructed with triple shielding. Each and every Tributaries HDMI cable is said to be handtested with real-world conditions using a Blu-ray player and a 1080p flat panel.

ANALOG WAY MIXER SEAMLESS SWITCHERS

The OPS300, OPS200, Pulse, SmartVu and their Light Editions were designed by Analog Way to offer a complete range of AV presentation mixers answering the requirements of many projects. All HDCP compliant, the products feature Tri or Dual Scalers and offer universal analog and digital input/output and full high resolution digital processing. They output digital and analog signals in DVI and VGA simultaneously with a selection of many formats up to Computer 2K. Depending on the model, the new range offers from five to 12 direct inputs and are designed to allow the display of up to two PIPs on a live background.

TEKTRONIX PQA600 PICTURE QUALITY ANALYZER
Based on the concepts of the human vision system, the Tektronix Picture Quality Analyzer provides a suite of repeatable, objective quality measurements that closely correspond with subjective human visual assessment. Tektronix now offers the new PQA600 Picture Quality Analyzer with faster measurement execution, quieter design environment, improved temporal alignment execution, and intuitive graphical user interface for easy analysis and Region of Interest capability for even more detailed analysis. Tektronix will also be offering a trade-in program for existing PQA500 customers.

SUNBRITETV ALL-WEATHER LCD DISPLAYS
SunBriteTV has introduced two new all-weather LCD displays: the 46-inch full-HD portrait oriented display and the 55-inch HD LCD television. The new 46-inch and the 55-inch are designed for permanent outdoor installation. All are designed to keep out rain, dust, insects and anything else that might come their way, and the proprietary hex-fan airflow and heating system uses thermostatically controlled fans to only keep the units properly ventilated, but also to keep the panels safe in temperatures ranging from -24-degrees up to 122-degrees F.

HITACHI CP-D10+FX- 77GII BUNDLE

Hitachi’s CP-D10+FX-77GII bundle, named the Stimulus Bundle, combines the Hitachi CP-D10 short-throw projector, the Hitachi StarBoard FX- 77GII 77-inch interactive whiteboard, and a custom- designed Premier Mounts wall mount. Mounted on the wall arm, the CP-D10’s shortthrow capability greatly reduces the shadow cast on the FX-77GII from the presenter and is designed to offer a better viewing experience. The projector features a short throw distance of three feet that projects an 80-inch image. The CP-D10 is said to have a brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens and XGA resolution. It also includes a 4000-hour hybrid filter for easy maintenance.

BLACK BOX MEDIACENTO

Black Box Corporation’s MediaCento is a new line of solutions designed to reduce the cost of distributing media to digital signage in large buildings. HD View transmitters and receivers distribute video and audio over dedicated copper wiring, extending VGA video as far as 1000 feet and digital HDMI video up to 230 feet. The VGA versions also support bidirectional RS-232 control, making them ideal for interactive kiosk screens.

PREMIER MOUNTS UNIVERSAL SHORT THROW PROJECTOR WALL MOUNTS
Premier Mounts has introduced two universal short throw projector wall mounts with audio components. Designed with two 25-watt speakers and a 50-watt amplifier, the UNISTA+ Audio and UNI-EXT+Audio are designed to be flexible mounting options for short-throw projectors. A GearBox is integrated into the projector base plate, which securely stores away AV and IT components, providing a neat appearance and enhanced security.

CASIO GREEN SLIM PROJECTORS
Casio has released a mercury-free laser and LED hybrid light source that is capable of high-brightness. Use of the laser and LED hybrid light source makes Casio’s Green Slim projectors bright enough for projection in a well-lit room without using a high-pressure mercury lamp. The projector produces bright colors through upgraded color purity, the light source has a life of approximately 20,000 hours, projection at maximum brightness is said to be possible in a minimum of eight seconds, and no cool down is needed when turning the projectors off.

QVS HDMI PORTABLE VIDEO PATTERN GENERATOR
QVS has introduced the HDMI Portable Video Pattern Generator for testing HDTV displays and projectors for color and resolutions. It has 34 test patterns, 48 timings from 640x350 to 1920x1200 to HDTV?s 1080p, built-in audio, and HDCP signal tester. It features an easy-to-use OSD, up to eight hours rechargeable battery, and a universal power adaptor.

OMNIVEX MOXIE SOFTWARE FOR VIDEOWALL MANAGEMENT

Omnivex Corporation has advanced the functionality of its Moxie software with its latest release. Omnivex Moxie 6.05 has the functionality to manage videowalls driven by any number of PCs to form single or multiple images through the Videowall Synchronization feature. A video can span multiple PCs, be displayed on multiple screens, and remain in frame synchronization, even in the event of one or more Player PCs restarting. The end result is one perfectly unified, visually stunning videowall that is capable of managing the most elaborate content imaginable. Users of Moxie 6.05 can set up multiple tasks to synchronize remote files, playlists, schedules, etc. to the Data Server folder. Users can then simply drop content files into a synchronized folder on their network and Moxie will retrieve them. With Moxie?s Data Proxy capability, multiple Players can connect through a single node, dramatically reducing network traffic and improving efficiencies.
