AGOURA HILLS, CA--coolux Media Systems announced the opening of an advanced training center that allows customers to maximize the use of the company's award-winning Pandoras Box real-time media control solutions. Located at the coolux International headquarters just outside Los Angeles, the new facility gives prospective and existing customers full access to Pandoras Box Media Systems, providing an invaluable opportunity for in-depth training led by experienced coolux technical staff. European customers can also enjoy full training sessions at the company's headquarters in Köln, Germany.

"Clients can take advantage of our training programs not only to get comfortable with our products, but also to understand how to implement those systems within their own workflows and projects," said Steve Gilbard, president of coolux International. "Pandoras Box systems offer users countless creative opportunities, and we've seen that with proper training, support, and hands-on experience, users become passionate about our products and ramp up their skill sets very quickly. As a result, users are better equipped to achieve the results they desire with the least investment of time and effort."

coolux provides introductory training free of charge with any Pandoras Box solution. Offered as a two-day course, the LEVEL-1 class offers up to 12 students an overview of product features, how the system works, and how it can be used for many traditional applications. A two-day LEVEL-2 class for advanced users addresses a more sophisticated implementation of Pandoras Box products and incorporates more complex programming and in-depth exploration of the systems' capabilities for client projects. The expert LEVEL-3 class, which can be two or more days depending on the goals of the customer, offers small groups a more focused and refined training environment, tailored on a case-by-case basis to meet the demands of specific and more sophisticated implementations.

The coolux training facility features 12 dedicated system stations so students can work with the product continuously throughout each session. The coolux staff that runs the introductory, advanced, and expert classes is involved in the continued development of Pandoras Box, using their technical support knowledge as well as their field experience to ensure the product offers up-to-date tricks and techniques critical to efficient video playback for live applications. As a result, students participating in coolux training sessions benefit from the trainers' substantial knowledge base and real-world experience.

The first two-day introductory session took place on Aug. 18-19 at the coolux Agoura Hills location. The highly successful seminar brought 11 students up to date on the latest features of Pandoras Box Version 4.1. Additional training classes are scheduled throughout the year, and coolux training courses are also available at all major industry trade shows.
