ITU Uses TANDBERG Expressway For NAT-Firewall Traversal

New York, NY and Oslo, Norway - To advance widespread adoption of video communication over the internet, the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) announced two new standards for Network Address Translation (NAT)-Firewall traversal: H.460.18 and H.460.19. These standards, based on the Expressway solution developed by TANDBERG, will provide video users with a method of NAT-Firewall traversal that opens video communication both within and outside virtually any organization, anywhere.

Together with other industry vendors, TANDBERG developed the H.460.18 and H.460.19 standards for the ITU based on the components of its Expressway solution.
