The iPhone App to aide AV designers, installers and consultants is available on the iTunes AppStore from MDCI (Millennium Design Concepts). The Audio Visual Handbook Application strives to achieve a portable reference guide to assist the AV Industry with the basic tools needed to accomplish certain design and installation tasks.
Features include many 'operational" calculators, such as Ohms law calculators, screen sizing and good viewing area calculators, dBSPL calculators, speaker distance calculators, video bandwidth calculator, RF TV systems calculator, and a technical reference section.
The App will become an ever evolving App as MDCI plans to update the App on a monthly basis based on user requests and improvements. The App will never get stale as the new information will continually enhance the user experience.
