Furman Debuts P-2400 AR Voltage Regulator And Power Conditioner

Furman will display its full line of professional domestic (120V) and export (220V-240V) power management solutions at InfoComm 09. New at the show will be the P-2400 AR Voltage Regulator/Power Conditioner. A successor to Furman's AR-20 II and the second voltage regulator in Furman's new Prestige Series, the P-2400 AR is a 20A rack-mountable voltage regulator/power conditioner featuring Furman's newly refined True RMS Voltage Regulation Technology. Utilizing an ultra-low noise, microprocessor-controlled, eight-tap toroidal autoformer with solid-state switching, the P-2400 AR provides a consistent 120V output (±5V) from any input voltage ranging from 97V to 137V. Furman's True RMS Voltage Regulation Technology is designed for quiet operation in critical listening and recording applications. The P-2400 AR is also a full-featured power conditioner with Furman's SMP/LiFT/EVS Technologies for professional-level protection and linear AC noise filtration. Convenience features include a switchable front-panel digital voltmeter/ammeter with color-coded voltage range indicator for comprehensive power monitoring, and a front-panel USB charger for personal media devices and cell phones. The P-2400 AR will be available in June 2009.
