Shure Joins AVnu Alliance

  • NILES, IL--Shure Incorporated has joined the AVnu Alliance as a Promoter member. The AVnu Alliance promotes the adoption of the IEEE 802.1 AVB standard and the related IEEE 1722 and 1733 into Professional AV, automotive and consumer applications.

  • As a Promoter member of the AVnu Alliance, Shure will be actively involved in marketing and technical working groups to help define, implement, and encourage adoption of the AVB standard across various industry sectors.
  • Other AVnu member companies include Avid, Broadcom Corporation, Cisco Systems, Intel Corporation, Lab X Technologies, Meyer Sound Laboratories, and Samsung Electronics.
