QSC Speakers Reinforce Resurrection

QSC Speakers Reinforce Resurrection
  • GRANDVILLE, MI-QSC's AcousticDesign loudspeakers were recently specified and installed to provide distributed sound reinforcement for several high-traffic areas at Resurrection Life Church. Occupying a campus featuring a 200,000-square-foot building including a 4,200-seat sanctuary surrounded by numerous nursery/youth ministry rooms as well as a chapel, café, and bookstore, the church called upon Acoustic Dimensions of Dallas to develop a new audio blueprint for its entire property, with installation and custom engineering services supplied by Holland, MI-based Parkway Electric.

The expansive walkways traversing the campus of the Resurrection Life Church utilize QSC AcousticDesign loudspeakers, which are mounted discretely amidst support structures and architectural elements.
One facet of the project has live audio and video feeds of ongoing worship services provided to subsidiary rooms as well as all common areas and the expansive walkways traversing the campus. For example, a 40-foot-wide region traversing the entire rear of the sanctuary receives full-range coverage from several AcousticDesign AD-S82 compact, surface-mount loudspeakers.

Each AD-S82, housed in a ported polystyrene enclosure, includes an eight-inch low-frequency transducer with a heavy-duty double roll cloth surround providing solid output all the way down to 65 Hz.
