Broadsign International announced at the Digital Signage Expo that Patrick (Rick) J. Engels will join their organization as President and Chief Operating Officer. He comes to Broadsign from Petters Group Worldwide, where he served as their CFO and Media/Marketing portfolio manager. Petters Group is the largest shareholder of BroadSign International.
Engels is assuming leadership of Broadsign at a time when adoption of digital signage as a medium and demand for digital signage software are accelerating globally. He will operate from the new BroadSign corporate headquarters in Minnetonka, MN, located at the main administrative offices of Petters Group Worldwide.
“Rick will oversee and lead our day-to-day operations, as BroadSign continues to expand its market share within the digital signage industry,” said Cord Christenson, CEO of BroadSign, “This will allow me to concentrate more on building stronger strategic partnerships,” he added.

BroadSign announced August 21st that Massachusetts-based Digital Promo Network (DPN) will use the BroadSign Suite to deploy a digital signage network in 500 convenience stores by the end of 2007, with plans to expand the network to 2,000 stores over the next 18 months. BroadSign Acquires Navori

(BroadSign), provider of hosted software for managing digital signage networks, announced Feb. 5th that it has entered into an agreement to acquire privately-held Navori International S.A. (Navori). BroadSign Appoints Boudreault, Injects $4.5M

BroadSign Canada Inc., has announced that its parent company, digital signage software provider BroadSign International Inc. has appointed top technology expert Mr. Richard Boudreault as chairman of the Board of Directors and will invest an additional $4.5M in its facilities located in Montreal, Quebec.
