Brea, CA--Altinex has appointed Tamer ElSawah to the position of chief technology officer. With an impressive track record that includes more than a decade's worth of experience in hardware and firmware design, coupled with project management and strong leadership skills, ElSawah brings a wealth of credentials to his new position with Altinex.

In this executive level position, ElSawah will be charged with overseeing technical developments relating to the improvements, design, testing, and manufacturing of Altinex products and services. These responsibilities include overseeing the company's engineering and R&D divisions, along with all aspects of technical support to customers, sales, marketing, and production.

Prior to joining Altinex, ElSawah was the senior electrical engineer, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, for San Diego, CA-based Cardinal Health, where he managed multiple teams of electrical, mechanical, firmware, and system designers. ElSawah also worked at On Command Corporation of San Jose, CA as director of hardware engineering and, prior to this, held Design Engineer positions with Sunnyvale, CA-based Cadence Design Systems as well as Rancho Cucamonga, CA-based Safetran Systems.

"I'm delighted to be joining the Altinex team," ElSawah stated.
