PARK CITY, UT--SoundTube Entertainment's SolidDrive product line is now approved by Underwriters Laboratories for general applications (UL1480) and plenum ceiling (UL2043) uses.
- SolidDrive is a technology using a hidden sound transducer that transmits acoustical energy through almost any solid surface. The entire surface becomes a speaker delivering sound with the frequency response of conventional diaphragm speakers. SolidDrive transducers can be installed directly behind walls or ceilings, under tables and even on glass surfaces, creating omnidirectional sound that immerses the listener in audio.
