David Mallon has joined POPAI, The Global Association for Marketing at-Retail, as Senior Vice President Industry Affairs with responsibility for research and industry initiatives, coordinating the international chapters, engaging POPAI's burgeoning digital signage members and guiding the association's public policy efforts.

Mallon has deep experience in consumer marketing, starting his career in brand management with Procter & Gamble and Kraft, as well as prior association experience in industry affairs with the Grocery Manufacturers Association. More recently he was SVP Marketing for Information Resources Inc (IRI). Mallon has a M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Lake Forest College. POPAI Milestone International Board Meeting

POPAI, the nonprofit trade association for the Marketing at Retail Industry has announced that its Board of Directors held it first official meeting outside of North America, February 23-24th, in Dussedorf, Germany, calling the meeting “a significant a milestone for POPAI as it continues to add country chapters around the world. POPAI Finalizes MARI Shopper Engagement Service

POPAI, the Global Association for Marketing at-Retail, announced that it has finalized contract negotiations with Sheridan Consulting for a new three measurement cycle Shopper Engagement Service as conceived and tested during Phase One of POPAI's Marketing At Retail Initiative (MARI) in the United States and the United Kingdom. The new service tracks engagement with Marketing at Retail materials as shoppers make their way through the store. Shopper Engagement has been recently defined by the MARI advisory council (MAC), a group comprised of brands and retailers participants.
