ADI And The National Training Center Offer Nicet Fire Alarm Training

MELVILLE, NY--ADI is teaming up with the National Training Center (NTC) to deliver NICET Level 1 & 2 Fire Alarm Preparation Courses at ADI branches across the country. NTC is an industry organization committed to providing high quality training to the low voltage industry through live and online training courses. This course will help prepare dealers for the NICET certification exam.

This two-day, 16 hour training course provides an in-depth look at the policies and procedures that govern the industry. Dealers will become knowledgeable on current fire and life safety requirements by learning codes of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). This training will benefit installation, sales and service professionals as these codes influence buildings, processes, services, designs and installations across the country. Attendees will be exposed to more than 250 sample questions, develop effective test-taking strategies and learn how to use references properly.

"The National Training Center is committed to providing the very best training to the low voltage market," said Charles Aulner, president of the National Training Center. "NTC is extremely excited to expand our reach across the fire industry by providing the NICET Fire Alarm Preparation Course at local ADI branches."

"Through this comprehensive NICET training course, ADI and NTC are helping dealers stay up-to-date on the latest fire alarm codes," said Scott Sturgess, director of product marketing for fire and intrusion products at ADI. "By preparing them for NICET certification we are helping to raise the standard of excellence across the fire industry."

In addition to the valuable training, attendees will receive a copy of the NTC Red Book NICET Testing and Study Guide. ADI and the NTC are also teaming up to offer Webinar Wednesdays, free monthly online trainings. Throughout the year, these trainings will focus on different topics within the low voltage industry.
