With more than 30 years of experience in creating and leading hi-tech businesses, Jim Reinhart's passion continues to be in challenging the status quo with novel, disruptive approaches. Reinhart spent his early career with Motorola driving important innovations in embedded processing, systems-on-chips (SoCs) and digital settops. Drawn to the entrepreneurial world, he held leadership positions with startup ups Intrinsity and ViXS Systems doing pioneering work in high-performance CPUs and digital video SoCs, respectively.  He also led the turn-around of Cirrus Logic's digital video SoC business contributing significantly to the successful spin-outs of Magnum Semiconductor and Atterotech.

As co-founder and CEO of Luminary Micro, Reinhart led the company for the four years from it’s founding to its acquisition by Texas Instruments in 2009 where he led the business as an independent business unit within TI’s embedded controls portfolio. Luminary Micro raised raised over $50M in venture, growth and working capital and brought over 100 products to global markets. Reinhart left TI in 2014 to take the helm of TEKVOX where he saw the industry-changing potential of the company's 'drop-in' approach to deploying audio/visual infrastructure. A sixth-generation Texan, Reinhart is an active community volunteer in pursuits ranging from youth sports coaching, historic cemetery preservation, urban reforestation and community governance. Reinhart holds a BSEE from Rice University and an MBA from St. Edward’s University and is a registered professional engineer.
