- AOpen America of Milpitas, CA, an industry leader in providing a wide range of digital engines and small form factor (SFF) bare bone systems announced the appointment of John Ochoa as director of Applied Computing. A new business unit with the purpose of providing complete OEM/ODM aligned Intel based computer systems aimed at the digital signage market, also including large format LCD, video wall systems integrating their small form factor digital engines. Prior to joining AOpen, Ochoa was director of business development at DT Research.
