TEKVOX has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering interoperable HDBaseT solutions by joining the HDBaseT Alliance as an Adopter-level member

.

The HDBaseT Alliance is a cross-industry alliance founded by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Valens to promote and standardize HDBaseT technology for whole-home distribution of uncompressed Ultra-HD multimedia content. The cornerstone of HDBaseT technology is 5Play, a feature set that converges uncompressed full HD digital video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power over cable and various control signals through a single LAN cable.

"TEKVOX is delighted to join the HDBaseT Alliance as an adopter," says Jim Reinhart, CEO of TEKVOX. "We view standardization of popular AV and communications protocols and power on a single cable as an accelerator of deployment of advanced cost effective AV and Control Systems. Customers demand and expect interoperable solutions, and TEKVOX will do its part to deliver them."

"We are happy to welcome TEKVOX as a member of the HDBaseT Alliance," says Ariel Sobelman, President of the HDBaseT Alliance. "Their customers and the industry as a whole will benefit as they introduce new, interoperable HDBaseT solutions to the market, and we are looking forward to supporting them in this effort."
