InfoComm Orlando, Florida
17-19 June, 2015
Audio Pavilion, Booth 335
Heilbronn, June 2015:beyerdynamic, the well-known German audio specialist, complements its ranges of wired and wireless conference systems with new products at InfoComm booth 335 in the Audio Pavilion.
Introducing Orbis: the reliable, intuitive, digital wired conference system.
The Orbis product family consists of several components: table top or flush-mount microphone units, removable gooseneck microphones, and a central control unit that can manage up to 100 delegate stations.
High-quality materials and the innovative one-button navigation make the control unit unique, and set new standards in both design and operability. The system is wired with standard Cat5 cables. The cable routing options of the microphone units allow connection from below or behind the unit, and also work as a cable strain relief. Each microphone unit has backlit, silicone buttons with Braille, and 3.5mm audio output for connecting a headphone or induction loop, which follows the UN Convention for equality of disabled people.
With numerouscustomization options, the microphone units can be adapted to corporate requirements easily, and provide the customer with complete freedom of design. The housings are available in various colors, and there are no design limits for the control panels- logos can be integrated, and the color and material can also be changed.
Another highlight for the show is the new vertical microphone array, which can be connected to the Orbis microphone units instead of a gooseneck microphone. This technology gives the user maximum freedom of movement to the left and right. It is also possible to share one microphone unit between two people.
The Quinta product family, beyerdynamic’s 5th generation of wireless conference technology, continues to grow. The future-proof system uses the latest technology such as intelligent, reliable frequency selection, an AVB interface, and control via a smartphone or tablet.
In addition to the gooseneck and Revoluto microphone units which are already available, further components will be introduced: Quinta gooseneck microphone units with voting functions, and the Quinta handheld transmitter.
Three different voting options are available with the new Quinta system: parliamentary, multiple choice and public opinion. The software allows results to be displayed in different ways. Additionally, there is an archive function, as well as the option to export the results.
The Quinta handheld transmitter can be integrated into the conference system as a delegate microphone unit, offering the same functionality. The two-color, back-lit microphone button is made of tactile silicone, and features Braille lettering. For use with standard NiMH batteries, a charging dock with a smart charging concept will also be made available as an accessory. To meet different specifications, interchangeable heads with different capsules are also available. The handheld transmitter is optimally suited for use in panel discussions, whispered interpreting, or as an audience microphone.
